The Montenegrin Guitar Duo headlines the Baltic Guitar Festival in Lithuania this week, and their recent concert in Serbia will be broadcast on Swedish National Radio this evening.

The Montenegrin Guitar Duo opens the Baltic Guitar Festival this Friday with a programme that features music by Piazzolla, De Falla and Lancheres as well as the duo’s own arrangements of J.S. Bach’s French Suites. Taking place at the Birštonas kurhaus in Lithuania, this performance will begin a three day festival that also sees the Montenegrin Guitar Duo serve as members of the jury for the festival’s competition and as masterclass clinicians for its laureates. This evening, the duo’s recent performance at Novi Sad’s City Hall will be broadcast by Swedish National Radio. Host Emil Fredberg will introduce this episode of ‘Konsert i P2’, in which listeners will hear the duo perform Bach’s French Suite no. 1, Piazzolla’s Troileana Suite and Ritual Fire Dance from De Falla’s El amor brujo.
