Tim Horton‘s appearance on a recent episode of BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ is now available to hear on BBC Sounds.
In conversation with presenter Katie Derham, Tim spoke about the recital he was to give at Wigmore Hall the day following the broadcast. Their conversation ranged from Tim’s experience curating a Chopin cycle, his recent performance at the memorial concert for the late Alfred Brendel, and his upcoming concerts with Ensemble 360, of which he is a founding member.
As part of the broadcast, Tim gave performances live on-air of Chopin’s Waltz op. 64, no. 2, Mazurka op. 56, no. 2 and Nocturne op. 48, no. 2.
