Rachmaninov Symphony no. 2 in E minor, Op.27, arranged for two pianos by the performers, Hiroaki Takenouchi and Simon Callaghan. Recorded live at St. John’s, Smith Square in Feb 2017 (the world premiere performance of the arrangement).

“Inspired by the dreaminess and melancholy of Marcel Dupré’s interpretation of this variation, we chose to build a painting that is both minimalist and surreal on the beach of Arromanches-les-Bains, known for the relics of its artificial port. dating from World War II.”
