The increase in recordings of the music of Henriëtte Bosmans is most heartening. A composer of undeniable lyric gifts and sensibility, her output straddles the shift from late romanticism to 1920s modernism with considerable aplomb. Thirty of her pieces are now listed in the Presto Music database, with multiple recordings of at least a dozen of them.
