Soirées at Breinton have successfully organised hosting their summer concerts outside this year, and Huw Wiggin and Oliver Wass look forward to appearing as part of the series, ‘Summer at Breinton’, next month.
In an enterprising move towards the return of live performances, Summer at Breinton hosted its first live concert of the year on Saturday 4th July, with a socially-distanced audience taking their places in the garden at Breinton (pictured above).
The new COVID-secure set-up invites audience members to bring their own picnics and rugs or deckchairs, and enjoy the garden for an hour before the concert. Some pre-concert arrival music will be performed by talented young musicians, before the main concert at 4pm. And in the event of bad weather, the events will be postponed by 24 hours for a second attempt on Sunday afternoon.
Huw Wiggin and Oliver Wass bring their “seemingly unlikely” saxophone and harp duo to Breinton on Saturday 22nd August, and are excited to give their first live performance together since the lockdown began.
Tickets for Huw and Oliver’s concert are available via this page.
More information about the series can be found on the Summer at Breinton website.
