Corvus Consort and Louise Thomson’s ‘Welcome Joy’ has reached an outstanding position in the specialist classical charts following its release last month.

Today the Official Specialist Classical Charts confirmed that ‘Welcome Joy’, Corvus Consort’s new release with harpist Louise Thomson, had reached the position of 22.

The album, which celebrates womens voices both vocal and compositional, has received consistent praise across the press since being released by Chandos in September, with the British Music Society praising their “ideal vocal balance”.
