Timothy Orpen is delighted to join conductor Robin Browning and the de Havilland Philharmonic to perform Weber’s much-loved Second Clarinet Concerto in their Celebration of Spring Concert this Sunday.
Timothy Orpen is Principal Clarinet of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and a founder member and Principal Clarinet of Aurora Orchestra. He has been described as a ‘blazing talent’ by The Times and as ‘one of the best young British musicians today’ by The Telegraph. His Concerto highlights include the Mozart Clarinet Concerto at the Royal Albert Hall with Sir David Willcocks and concerto performances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Aurora Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia.
