Stratford Music Festival to feature three Tashmina Artists

Booking opens soon for this year’s edition of the Stratford Music Festival, which will include concerts by three artists on the Tashmina Artists roster: the Linos Piano Trio, Solem Quartet, and Galliard Ensemble.

All being well, the festival will take place in the flesh at Stratford Play House and Stratford Town Hall from 5th – 8th October. This will be a great opportunity to experience live chamber music with all the necessary COVID precautions, and to support the Arts at this very challenging time!

The Linos Piano Trio will open the 2020 Festival at 12 noon on Monday 5th October at Stratford Play House, performing works by Beethoven and Saariaho, as well one of the trios by C. P. E. Bach which featured on their latest recording, released in May of this year.

On the following day, Tuesday 6th October, the Solem Quartet will present Beethoven’s Quartet op. 130 and Haydn’s Quartet no. 65 in a 12 noon lunchtime recital at Stratford Town Hall.

And on Wednesday 7th October, also at 12 noon, the Galliard Ensemble will perform back at Stratford Play House, with a programme of wind quintets by Mozart, Grainger, McDowall and Bozza.

More information about the festival, including booking details, can be found on the Stratford Music Festival website.
