Important diary date: Solem Quartet at Wigmore Hall on 16th July

The fabulous Solem Quartet perform at Wigmore Hall on 16th July, as part of the venue’s Monday Platform Series, in a concert hosted by the prestigious Park Lane Group.

They will be playing  Bartok’s 4th String Quartet and Beethoven Op. 59/3; tickets can be bought here.

The complete programme for the concert, which the Solem Quartet share with fellow Park Lane Group Artists Matilda Lloyd (trumpet) and Cameron Richard-Eames (piano), will be:

  • Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) Concerto for trumpet and piano in D major BWV972 (arr. Alan Chen)
  • Jacques Castérède (1926-2014) Sonatine for trumpet and piano
  • Béla Bartók (1881-1945) String Quartet No. 4 BB95
  • George Enescu (1881-1955) Légende for trumpet and piano
  • Deborah Pritchard (b.1977) Seven Halts on the Somme
  • Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) String Quartet in C Op. 59 No. 3 ‘Razumovsky’
