Robert Plane in BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert, live from Wigmore Hall

On Monday 23rd November Robert Plane will perform in BBC Radio 3’s Lunchtime Concert, streamed live from Wigmore Hall. Robert looks forward to playing Arthur Bliss’s Clarinet Quintet, one of the composer’s greatest and most popular works, first performed in 1932 by clarinettist Frederick Thurston.

Robert will feature alongside violinists Jonathan Stone and Donald Grant, violist Hélène Clément and cellist Marie Bitlloch, and the programme will also include Beethoven’s String Trio in C minor, op. 9, no. 3.

The concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 at 1pm on Monday 23rd November, and will be available to listen afterwards via this link. The concert will also be streamed on the Wigmore Hall website.
