The Linos Piano Trio look forward to appearing live on BBC Radio 3 ‘In Tune’ from about 5pm this evening, when they will be previewing their concert at the London Chamber Music Society this Sunday.
They will be chatting to host Katie Derham about their upcoming appearance at Kings Place for the London Chamber Music Society, and much more. During the broadcast, they will perform movements of Beethoven’s Piano Trio in D Major, op. 70, no. 1, Ghost, and Fanny Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor, op. 11, plus their own arrangement of Felix Mendelssohn’s Song without Words, op. 53, no. 4. The trio will be performing these works in full, alongside Prach Boondiskulchok’s Piano Trio no. 2, Songs without Words at King’s Place on Sunday 21st January at 6pm, and tickets can be purchased here.
Earlier in the day, the trio will be coaching two up-and-coming piano trios as part of the ChamberStudio series at Princess Alexandra Hall at the Royal Overseas League. The session is open to observers, and tickets can be reserved here.
