Kurtág Hommage à Robert Schumann

As part of today’s Penarth Chamber Music Festival concert, broadcast live from St David’s Hall, Cardiff as Radio 3’s Lunchtime Concert, Robert Plane performs the Kurtág Hommage à Robert Schumann with David Adams (viola) and Robin Green (piano).

Having been unable to play in their regular venue Penarth Pier Pavilion due to the pandemic, Artistic directors Alice Neary and David Adams and their festival performing partners give a recital marking Beethoven’s 250th anniversary year. The full programme, introduced by Nicola Heywood Thomas, is:
