If you missed it at the time, you can ‘listen again’ to Robert Plane chatting to Alice Neary on Penarth Radio about his career, the repertoire he has performed and recorded and also his new appointment as Head of Wind Performance at RWCMD. You can hear Robert from about fourteen minutes into the broadcast.
You will also be able to hear the glorious York Bowen Quintet which Robert recorded with Lucy Gould, Mia Cooper, David Adams and Alice Neary.
Robert looks forward to being in Penarth for the forthcoming Penarth Chamber Music Festival where a small audience will be able to enjoy a performance of the Mozart Kegelstatt Trio, which he will play with Robin Green (piano) and David Adams (viola). The festival (June 25th – 28th) will also feature a pre-recording of Robert and his daughter Florence playing the Beethoven Duo no.1 in C for Clarinet and Bassoon.
