Ferio Saxophone Quartet Hit the Road in Earnest

The Ferio Saxophone Quartet hit the road in earnest over the next few months with an exciting line-up of concerts and Festival appearances up and down the UK.

On 27th July  they head to Sussex for the cultural feast that is the Petworth Festival to join a line up of exceptional artists from across the genres including Bass-Baritone Sir Willard White, pianists Joanna MacGregor and Ji Liu, the Brodsky Quartet and comedian Paul Merton with his  Impro Chums.

August 8th – 12th takes the Ferio Saxophone Quartet north to the Edinburgh Fringe for four concerts as part of the Royal Overseas League prestigious Music & More@100 Princes Street concert series. You can catch them on BBC Radio 3 In Tune live from Edinburgh on 8th August.

By the end of August they make their way to the North Norfolk Music Festival for a teatime concert on 24 August before heading west to the Machynlleth Festival on the 27th August for some late night sax.

By late summer the quartet travel to Ripon International Festival where they present two evening concerts: Old Masters and the Saxophone (14 September) and Curious Colours of Europe (15 September).
