Ensemble 360‘s collaboration with soprano Claire Booth is highlighted in her recent article for industry news site Classical Music.
A cornerstone of Ensemble 360’s current work is their exploration with pioneering soprano Claire Booth (IMG Artists) of Schönberg’s Pierrot Lunaire in the 150th year since the composer’s birth. With their new album ‘Pierrot Portraits’ and in concerts across the UK this season, they invite audiences to enter into the musical landscape of the Second Viennese School and beyond.
In her article for Classical Music, Booth describes her excitement to perform the work with “the wonderful Ensemble 360”, reflecting that “audiences who are curious enough to discover his music consistently tell me they are blown away by the musicality, inventiveness and frankly the beauty of Schönberg’s soundworld.”
