Corvus Consort will appear on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune later this month, ahead of their concerts this summer with instrumental duo Music on the Edge, including the Three Choirs Festival, on 28th July.
Corvus Consort return as guests on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ on July 25th, when they will talk to host Katie Derham about their project ‘Byrd Takes Flight’, which sees the ensemble collaborate with instrumental duo Music on the Edge.
Conceived to mark the 400th anniversary of William Byrd’s death in 2023, ‘Byrd Takes Flight’ contrasts music by Byrd and Tallis with contemporary responses by four outstanding young composers. Corvus will perform live on air in this episode, which will be broadcast from 5pm, and will be available to listen to live and for the following 30 days via this link.
‘Byrd Takes Flight’ will be performed across the country this summer. For more details and tickets, please visit the links below.
