Corvus Consort‘s next performance takes place at this year’s Summer Music in City Churches, a ten day festival occurring this June in the historic churches of London’s Square Mile.
In keeping with the festival’s theme of ‘eternal light’, Corvus will give a performance of Duruflé’s Requiem, op. 9, as well as two interpretations the Latin requiem text ‘Lux Aeterna’, by Swedish composer Britta Byström and American choral master Morton Lauridsen.
Corvus’s concert takes place at St. Giles Cripplegate, the parish church in the heart of the Barbican, on June 20th at 7:30pm, with tickets available via the link below.
Summer Music in City Churches offers a season ticket for £100 which allows access to all eleven concerts. Subscribers to the festival’s newsletter are eligible to receive a 20% discount on all tickets purchased.
