Soirées at Breinton have successfully organised hosting their summer concerts outside this year, and Huw Wiggin and Oliver Wass look forward to appearing as part of the series, ‘Summer at Breinton’, next month.
In an enterprising move towards the return of live performances, Summer at Breinton hosted its first live concert of the year on Saturday 4th July, with a socially-distanced audience taking their places in the garden at Breinton (pictured above).
Huw Wiggin (saxophone) and Oliver Wass (harp) have been invited to give a run of three concerts for Absolute Classics in Dumfries & Galloway in January.
They will perform evening concerts in Dumfries and Annan on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th January respectively, and then an afternoon concert in Thornhill on Sunday 19th January.
Gower Festival regulars are in for a treat on Friday 12th July when Huw Wiggin (saxophone) and Oliver Wass (harp) give an early afternoon concert as part of this year’s festival. The event is close to being sold out, so if you would like to hear this unusual pairing of instruments and some wonderful music, you need to book soon!
Huw Wiggin (saxophone) and Oliver Wass (harp) will travel to Somerset on the 12th January to play in the Millfield School International Concert Series. The duo will give the first half of the evening’s concert, with music from Albinoni to Debussy, Gershwin and De Falla.
